On 10 April 2025, an online career talk was conducted aimed at equipping students with valuable industry insights and career-building skills. Titled “SanDisk Career Talk: Power Up Your Career,” the event featured two insightful sessions. The session attracted students from various faculties who were eager to gain a competitive edge in today’s job market.

The first session was led by Ms. Nurr Syazwanie, Senior Test Engineer in Operations at SanDisk. She provided students with an in-depth look into building a career in semiconductor technology, sharing her personal journey, technical experiences, and valuable advice for aspiring engineers navigating the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

The second session focused on the art of resume crafting and how students can strategically position themselves to attract top employers. It was conducted by Ms. Elvina Tiun, a Campus Recruiter for Talent Acquisition at SanDisk, who is also our Permata Dunia from the Faculty of Business (FOB). Participants received practical tips on tailoring their resumes and standing out in a competitive hiring environment.

Organised by Career Connect in collaboration with the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence & Engineering (FAIE) and the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET), the event underscored the importance of bridging academic learning with real-world career planning.
